Surgical Basics Sitz Bath

Description:

A Sitz bath is a shallow bath you sit in to cleanse the perineum (the space between the rectum and the vulva or scrotum) and relieve pain and itching. It also helps reduce haemorrhoids and anal swelling.

Stay-safe sitz bath by Surgical Basics is contoured and fits easily over a standard commode. It provides soothing rectal/perineal soaking therapy for patient comfort and convenience.

Usage Directions:

You can give yourself a sitz bath in your bathtub or with a plastic kit that fits over your toilet. This kit is a round, shallow basin that often comes with a plastic bag that has long tubing on the end. You can fill this bag with warm water and safely fill the bath via the tubing.

The basin is slightly larger than a standard toilet bowl. You can safely secure and place it underneath the toilet seat to allow you to remain seated while taking a sitz bath.

How Do Returns & Refunds Work?

How We Handle Them:

Change of Mind

  • If you've had a change of mind about an item you have ordered, we'll need to receive it back to us unopened and unused, in the original packaging.

Faulty Item

  • If the item you have received is faulty, please contact us with a detailed description of the product fault, alongside a photo if possible.

Allergic Reaction

  • In the rare instance you've had an allergic reaction to a product, please discontinue use of the product immediately. We may reach out for further information on the reaction.

Allergy returns must be less than 20% used upon arrival back to us.

Incorrect / Damaged Items

  • If you have received an item that isn't what you ordered, or it arrived damaged, please take a photo and contact us within 7 days of delivery. 

Please don't dispose of the item without informing us.
