Description:

SuperNutraceuticals Zinc Picolinate Forte 25 mg Capsules 

This product has been compounded by the pharmacist. 

Free from gluten, lactose, dairy, soy, caffeine and artificial colours. 

Overview:

  • Assists in the management of acne
  • Helps maintain healthy immune system
  • Promotes healthy sperm and prostate function
  • Supports reproductive health

 

How to use:

Adults: Take 1 capsule by mouth ONCE per day.

 

Warnings: 

  • Zinc can reduce absorption of Copper. Let your doctor know if you have been taking Zinc supplement continuously for more than four weeks. 
  • Vitamin supplements should not replace a balanced diet. 

 

Drug Interactions: 

Some medicines may interact with Zinc. Consult with your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any of the following medicines before taking this supplement:

  • Some medicines to treat diabetes such as: Glimepiride, Insulin, Sitagliptin (Januvia) and Vildagliptin (Galvus, Galvumet). Zinc may lower blood glucose levels and may have additive effects in patients treated with antidiabetic medications. 
  • Oral antibiotics for acne such as Doxycyline and Minocycline. This interaction may be avoided if Zinc supplement is taken 4-6 hours after the oral antibiotics. 

 

Side effects:

Orally, Zinc Picolinate is generally well tolerated.

In some people, Zinc can cause nausea, vomiting, a metallic or objectionable taste in the mouth, abdominal cramping, indigestion, heartburn, dry mouth, and mouth irritation

 

Ingredients:

  • Active ingredients: Zinc Picolinate (equivalent to 25 mg of elemental Zinc)
  • Inactive Ingredients: Cellulose (Microcrystalline)

 

Storage: 

  • Store at room temperature below 30 degress Celsius.
  •  Protect from direct sunlight.

How Do Returns & Refunds Work?

How We Handle Them:

Change of Mind

  • If you've had a change of mind about an item you have ordered, we'll need to receive it back to us unopened and unused, in the original packaging.

Faulty Item

  • If the item you have received is faulty, please contact us with a detailed description of the product fault, alongside a photo if possible.

Allergic Reaction

  • In the rare instance you've had an allergic reaction to a product, please discontinue use of the product immediately. We may reach out for further information on the reaction.

Allergy returns must be less than 20% used upon arrival back to us.

Incorrect / Damaged Items

  • If you have received an item that isn't what you ordered, or it arrived damaged, please take a photo and contact us within 7 days of delivery. 

Please don't dispose of the item without informing us.
