Description:

Opsite Flexifix Gentle Transparent Silicone Adhesive Film has a gentle adhesive to hold dressings in place. It is breathable, transparent, has a seven-day wear time, and can be used on patients with fragile or at-risk skin. It removes cleanly, without disrupting fragile skin layers or causing the patient undue pain.

This gentle silicone gel adhesive enables the dressing to be lifted and repositioned without losing adherent properties. The film is transparent, shower and bacteria proof, allowing monitoring of the site under the film without lifting the dressing. The low friction film helps to protect the skin from the formation of pressure injuries.

  • Ideal for patients with fragile skin, the gentle silicone adhesive minimizes the risk of damage to the skin.
  • Conformable and extensible, ensures a more comfortable experience for the patient.
  • Minimizes the risk of pain or discomfort on removal.
  • Easy to apply, can be lifted and repositioned without losing adherent properties.
  • The transparent film allows regular inspection of the application site without the need for removal
  • Shower and bacteria proof, is impermeable to bacteria, protecting the site against extrinsic contamination and allows the patient to shower with the dressing in-situ.
  • Ability to cut to required size, allows correct sized film to be used for the required site.
  • Low friction film can help in protecting the skin from the formation of pressure injuries.

Usage Directions:

Wash your hands before and after dealing with a wound. Gently clean the wound and surrounding skin, and dry thoroughly.

Remove the blue tape and clear protector from the roll and cut to the required length.

Remove the protective liner from the film.

Apply the film and smooth down.

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place.

How Do Returns & Refunds Work?

All products you buy from the Healthylife website are covered by the Healthylife Returns Policy.

How We Handle Them:

Change of Mind

  • If you've had a change of mind about an item you have ordered, we'll need to receive it back to us unopened and unused, in the original packaging.

Faulty Item

  • If the item you have received is faulty, please contact us with a detailed description of the product fault, alongside a photo if possible.

Allergic Reaction

  • In the rare instance you've had an allergic reaction to a product, please discontinue use of the product immediately. We may reach out for further information on the reaction.

Allergy returns must be less than 20% used upon arrival back to us.

Incorrect / Damaged Items

  • If you have received an item that isn't what you ordered, or it arrived damaged, please take a photo and contact us within 7 days of delivery. 

Please don't dispose of the item without informing us.
