Description:

FRÍO Cooling Wallets keep in-use insulin, and 29 other temperature sensitive medicines cool and safe, within safe temperatures of 18-26°C (64.4-78.8°F) for a minimum of 45 hours. The FRIO cooler lasts up to 5 times longer than ice packs, ice boxes and coolers. A FRÍO needs only water to activate, easy for when you’re on the move. Diabetes nurses and doctors advise keeping in-use insulin cool to maintain its effectiveness.

The Blossom wallet combines the soft pastel shades of pink and lilac in a watercolour floral design. This wallet features a rose gold metallic zip and pink inner liner and is delivered in premium embossed packaging.

A FRIO wallet works through a process of evaporation which ensures its contents are kept cool and safe.

Each FRIO pouch consists of an inner wallet and an outer cover. The inner wallet contains the specially developed crystals which activate when immersed in water, expanding into a gel, and remaining cool for up to 45 hours.

To activate your FRIO simply immerse the inner wallet in water for the time specified on the instructions. Then simply pat the inner wallet dry with a towel and insert it into the outer cover. Then you are good to go!

Usage Directions:

The Blossom Five medicine cooling wallet is suitable for carrying the following combinations of pens, vials, and cartridges.

Diabetes Medication:

  • up to 5 standard sized insulin injection pens either pre-filled disposable or refillable; or
  • up to 10 x 3 ml cartridges; or
  • up to 15 x 1.5 ml cartridges; or
  • up to 5 x 10 ml vials (bottles); or
  • a combination of pens, vials, and cartridges

Anaphylaxis Medication:

  • up to 3 x EpiPens (Adrenaline: for emergency treatment of anaphylactic reactions)

Rheumatoid Arthritis and Crohn’s Disease Medication:

  • up to 4 x Enbrel® Pens

Activation times:

First time use or when crystals have returned to original dry form:

  • Immerse the inner wallet containing the crystals in cold water and soak for 14-18 minutes

For continuous use:

  • When in continuous use, reactivating will only require 2-4 minutes as the crystals will still be partially activated.

Warnings:

Always read the label. Use as directed.

Note: It is recommended that a waterproof liner is used with metal pens, with any electronic timing device or any accessory with electronic components to protect them from moisture. It is also recommended a waterproof liner is used when the wallet is holding Epi pens or and allergy pen.

How Do Returns & Refunds Work?

How We Handle Them:

Change of Mind

  • If you've had a change of mind about an item you have ordered, we'll need to receive it back to us unopened and unused, in the original packaging.

Faulty Item

  • If the item you have received is faulty, please contact us with a detailed description of the product fault, alongside a photo if possible.

Allergic Reaction

  • In the rare instance you've had an allergic reaction to a product, please discontinue use of the product immediately. We may reach out for further information on the reaction.

Allergy returns must be less than 20% used upon arrival back to us.

Incorrect / Damaged Items

  • If you have received an item that isn't what you ordered, or it arrived damaged, please take a photo and contact us within 7 days of delivery. 

Please don't dispose of the item without informing us.
