Cortic-DS Hydrocortisone (1%) Ointment 30g

Description:

Product Description

Cortic DS 1% ointment is used for the treatment of non-infective inflammatory skin conditions like eczema, dermatitis. It helps relieve the symptoms associated with these conditions; like, swelling, redness and itching associated. Cortic-ds is a type of cortisone and belongs to the group of medicines called corticosteroids.

Ask your doctor (or pharmacist) if you have any questions about why CORTIC-DS has been prescribed for you. Your doctor, however, may have prescribed CORTIC-DS for another purpose.

Ingredients:

Active ingredients: Hydrocortisone acetate (microfined) 1% or 10 mg/g 

Inactive ingredients: white soft paraffin, hard paraffin, liquid paraffin, wool fat.

 

Usage Directions:

Apply a thin smear to affected areas two to four times a day or as directed.

It is important to use CORTIC-DS exactly as your doctor (or pharmacist) has told you.

If you use it less than you should, it may not work as well and your skin problem may not improve. Using it more often than you should, may not improve your skin problem any faster and may cause or increase side effects.

Use CORTIC-DS at the same time every day.

Store in a cool dry place, below 25°C

This is a pharmacist only medication and requires pharmacist advice. This medicine may not be right for you. Always read the label and follow the directions for use. If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional. Keep out of reach of children. For external use only, do not use if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients.

Do not use it in or near the eyes. Do not give your cream or ointment to anyone else even if their symptoms seem similar to yours.

Do not use it to treat other conditions unless your doctor tells you. Your doctor has prescribed CORTIC-DS especially for you and your condition. If you use it for another condition, it may not work or make the condition worse.

How We Handle Them:

Change of Mind

  • If you've had a change of mind about an item you have ordered, we'll need to receive it back to us unopened and unused, in the original packaging.

Faulty Item

  • If the item you have received is faulty, please contact us with a detailed description of the product fault, alongside a photo if possible.

Allergic Reaction

  • In the rare instance you've had an allergic reaction to a product, please discontinue use of the product immediately. We may reach out for further information on the reaction.

Allergy returns must be less than 20% used upon arrival back to us.

Incorrect / Damaged Items

  • If you have received an item that isn't what you ordered, or it arrived damaged, please take a photo and contact us within 7 days of delivery. 

Please don't dispose of the item without informing us.
