Tyrosine mood food by Cabot health, helps support and improve mood, concentration, memory and attentiveness. It may also help with weight management.

Tyrosine is an amino acid that is required to produce neurotransmitters; neurotransmitters are molecules, which are used by the nervous system to transmit messages between neurons, or from neurons to muscles.

These neurotransmitters, support and improve mood, concentration, memory and attentiveness. Thyroid hormones, protein, enzyme synthesis all depend on Tyrosine, it is also essential for the muscle tissues in our body. The Cabot health Mood Food has a highly potent and pure form of Tyrosine.

The benefits of Tyrosine:

  • Tyrosine helps improve mood as it helps produce neurotransmitters like, dopamine, adrenalin and noradrenalin. Research has indicated that lower levels of these brain chemicals are closely associated with an increased incidence of depression and other mood disorders. Tyrosine helps stabilise mood.  
  •  Tyrosine may assist in the management of stress and prolong the anti-stress effects of this brain chemical. 
  • The thyroid gland regulates metabolism, body temperature, heart rate & growth & development. Tyrosine plays an important role with the human body’s thyroid function.
  • Since the thyroid hormone regulates metabolism & the body’s metabolic rate and the fact that Tyrosine plays an important role with the thyroid function; Tyrosine may help with weight management.

Ingredients:

Each level 5mL metric teaspoon contains: Pure Tyrosine 1.5 - 1.8g.

Usage Directions:

Adults: 1-2 teaspoons, 2-3 times daily in a glass of water or juice, 30 minutes before meals or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Children:  1 teaspoon, 2-3 times daily in a glass of water or juice, 30 minutes before meals or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Storage:

Store below 25°C away from heat and direct sunlight

Tyrosine supplements should not be taken by people using monoamine oxidase inhibitor antidepressant drugs (eg. Nardil and Parnate) as it may cause a severe rise in blood pressure in people taking these medications. Tyrosine should not be taken at the same time as the Parkinson's medication, Levodopa (L-dopa).

How We Handle Them:

Change of Mind

  • If you've had a change of mind about an item you have ordered, we'll need to receive it back to us unopened and unused, in the original packaging.

Faulty Item

  • If the item you have received is faulty, please contact us with a detailed description of the product fault, alongside a photo if possible.

Allergic Reaction

  • In the rare instance you've had an allergic reaction to a product, please discontinue use of the product immediately. We may reach out for further information on the reaction.

Allergy returns must be less than 20% used upon arrival back to us.

Incorrect / Damaged Items

  • If you have received an item that isn't what you ordered, or it arrived damaged, please take a photo and contact us within 7 days of delivery.
