Blackmores PAW Manuka Wound Gel 25g

Description:

Blackmores PAW manuka wound gel, is a sterile medical grade wound dressing. It is ideal for dogs, cats, horses & companion animals with burns, grazes & wounds.

The gel is made from Manuka honey (80%), natural oils and waxes for wound management. It can also be used as a general first aid gel for your pets & companion animals.

Features of Blackmores PAW manuka wound gel

  • Protects the wound & removes malodour
  • Helps maintain natural wound pH
  • Reduces and prevents contamination, external bacteria colonisation & infection
  • May assist in removal of slough and necrotic tissues
  • Natural & non-toxic for animals
  • Minimal heat treatment to preserve honey’s natural properties
  • Special blend of natural waxes and oils to reduce the stinging associated with pure honey
  • Non-adherent gel to reduce trauma at dressing change.

Ingredients:

Manuka Honey (80%), natural Gum, bees wax, and nourishing organic oils.

This product is sterile and of medical grade.

Usage Directions:

Wash around the wound with a sterile saline. Apply Gel liberally (approx. 3mm layer) directly to the wound or to a suitable dressing.

In addition using a barrier cream can further protect the wound margin.

Dressing change frequency will depend on clinical circumstances. It can vary from once per day for draining wounds to up to 7 days for unsoiled dressings.

PAW Manuka Wound Gel can be removed from the wound by rinsing with sterile saline or water at dressing change.

Warnings:

Use as directed. Always read the label. Please consult your Vet if symptoms persist. For animal use only. Keep out of reach of children.

Not for use on heavily exudating wounds. Not recommended for body cavities

In the event of a slow or non-responding wound, please seek veterinary advice.

How Do Returns & Refunds Work?

How We Handle Them:

Change of Mind

  • If you've had a change of mind about an item you have ordered, we'll need to receive it back to us unopened and unused, in the original packaging.

Faulty Item

  • If the item you have received is faulty, please contact us with a detailed description of the product fault, alongside a photo if possible.

Allergic Reaction

  • In the rare instance you've had an allergic reaction to a product, please discontinue use of the product immediately. We may reach out for further information on the reaction.

Allergy returns must be less than 20% used upon arrival back to us.

Incorrect / Damaged Items

  • If you have received an item that isn't what you ordered, or it arrived damaged, please take a photo and contact us within 7 days of delivery. 

Please don't dispose of the item without informing us.
