Demazin Cold + Flu Relief Day + Night Tablets, help relieve the symptoms of a cold and flu like runny nose, sinus pain, fever & headache, body aches & pains etc. Demazin works in 4 different ways, that is; as a decongestant, an analgesic, an antipyretic & as an antihistamine.

· The Decongestant: helps relieve a blocked or runny nose

·The Analgesic: helps block pain signals to the brain, which provides pain relief. It works to relieve headaches, body aches and pains and sinus pain

·The Antipyretic: Lowers body temperature thereby reducing fever

·The Antihistamine: Helps treat allergy symptoms such as sneezing and itchy watery eyes which may aid in a restful night’s sleep.

Ingredients:

Each day tablet contains:

Paracetamol 500mg

Phenylephrine hydrochloride 5mg

Each night tablet contains:

Paracetamol 500mg

Phenylephrine hydrochloride 5mg

Chlorphenamine maleate 2mg

Usage Directions:

Adults and children 12 years and over

How much: 2 Day tablets

How often: Every 4-6 hours, as necessary.

Maximum daily dose: 6 Day tablets in 24 hours.

Night Tablet Dosage

How much: 2 Night tablets

How often: At bedtime, as necessary.

Maximum daily dose: 2 Night tablets in 24 hours.

Storage:

Store below 30°C.

Warnings:

Incorrect use could be harmful. Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Keep out of reach of children. If symptoms persist, please contact your healthcare professional.

Do not use for children under 12 years, for more than a few days at a time if you are an adult, do not give this medicine to children and adolescents (12-17 years) for longer than 48 hours at a time without medical advice. Do not take this medicine with paracetamol unless advised by a doctor or pharmacist. Do not use if foil seal is broken. Does not contain gluten, yeast, soy or preservatives

Ask your doctor before use if you have high blood pressure or have heart problems or are pregnant or breast feeding or if you are taking antidepressants.

If symptoms persist please see your doctor or pharmacist. This medicine may cause sleeplessness in some people. may cause drowsiness, if drowsy do not drive or operate heavy machinery. Avoid alcohol. Keep to the recommended dose. If an overdose is suspected please contact the poisons information centre (Australia 131126) or go to a hospital straight away even if you feel well because of the risk of delayed serious liver damage.
